Senior Portrait Session with Jada

I stood waiting with my camera before our sunset session like I do almost every evening. This night was different, though. As soon as I saw Jada walking toward the beach in her cut off shorts and flowing, fringed sweater I knew that her senior portrait session was going to be really amazing. She had a down-to-Earth, boho style, an infectious smile and a sensibility about her beyond her years. The location for our shoot perfectly matched her love of the ocean and her dreams of becoming a marine biologist after graduation.

Looking to the Future

Jada is a gorgeous and intelligent girl who, at only 16, will be enjoying her senior year and finalizing her plans to attend Florida State University next fall. She has ambition, brains and beauty and I know that she is going to accomplish amazing things as she focuses on her future.

Portrait Inspiration

This session was inspired by Jada's personal style and interests to reflect who she is as a senior and where she is going in life. We wanted her images to convey the connection that she feels to nature and the sea and her laid-back and sunny personality. The light and airy feeling of the images captures her carefree spirit and natural beauty of the scenic location for the shoot at Jetty Park Beach in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Congratulations to Jada as she begins the last year of high school and the next chapter in her life and education! I know that she will go far and it was a joy to record this time in your life!
